Monday June 15 is the start date for the Myst Fan club sponsored competition,
Stranger Than Ever.
Participants will create their own interpretation of the 'Stranger' set in a scene from their favorite corner of the Myst universe. In addition to the following awards, all entries will be placed in a gallery made especially for this competition.

All media qualify for this competition. Traditional drawing & painting, digital pieces, sculpture, 3D models, works rendered in textiles, etc.

Images of the finished pieces must be submitted to the club gallery by Wednesday, July 15.

The artist's description of the submitted work must include the name of the Myst scene. For instance if your interpretation of the stranger is set in Edanna, you'll need to include that information in the description of your submitted work.

There is a limit of one entry per club member.
Judging Guidelines:
30% - Relevance of work to the contest theme, namely, the character of the Stranger in the Myst universe.
30% - Creativity, work shows original thought. Ideas expressed are creative and inventive.
30% - Technical expertise in the chosen medium.
10% - Clarity of the written artistic description accompanying the entry.
Awards:
The winning piece will earn the artist a 1 month dA subscription, and a handcrafted set of 'Myst' cards.
The runner up will share a one month module feature on the club's main page (not the same as a journal feature).
